Join the J-Hoon Musical Ensemble, a Kurdish youth music and dance company from New York City, for an artistic rendition of the story of creation inspired by Kurdish mythology. 12-1 pm - Live Music and Dance Performance 1-1:30 pm - Kurdish Dance and Music Workshop Tickets include both the performance and the workshop as well as 5 tickets to be redeemed in the international food court.
This event is part of a fundraidsing event for the Lycée Français de New York. Tickets are $25 for adults and children (not deductible).

After the worldwide success of “Piaf ! The Show !”, Gil Marsalla presents a "A Tribute to Charles Aznavour", a quartet in honor of the legendary French singer who died last October. During his 70-year-long career, Charles Aznavour wrote more than 800 songs and sold more than 180 million records around the world. The show will take you back to the time of “La Bohême” in Paris through the most powerful, memorable and iconic songs of the singer dubbed 'France's Frank Sinatra'.

Jazz with Camille Bertault
Camille Bertault is one of modern jazz's most compelling emerging voices whose artistry is “bigger than the buzz,” says Vogue. With an incredible voice that skillfully replicates the wide range of scales of musical instruments, Camille takes scat singing to a whole new level.
After failing her final exam at the Paris Conservatory of Music, Camille posted a video of herself on Facebook singing John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" in scat. The video went viral and in 2016, Camille released her first album. Her second album Pas de géant released in 2018 pays tribute to her quick rise to fame. $30 for adults / Free for Lycée Students

Oran Etkin: Jazz for Everyone
For the first time, the Lycée Cultural Center has hosted a concert specially made for children and their families. Oran Etkin, a "great clarinet player" and "excellent improviser" according to the New York Times, is also an expert on engaging children in music. Creator of the Timbalooloo Method, Oran teaches children the language of music by making instruments come to life and speak through their melodies. Oran has trained multiple musicians in this revolutionary method and gives classes to private groups and schools. Oran has a Masters in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and has performed in jazz festivals all over the world: Paris, Montréal, Tel Aviv, Tokyo…

En Plein dans l'Oeil
A concert based on the legendary works of French silent film director Georges Méliès, En plein dans l'oeil was directed by composer/scenographer Jean-François Alcoléa and produced by Alcoléa & cie.
En plein dans l'oeil featured a musical performance during the screening of 12 movies by Georges Méliès. Enhanced in a light show adapted to the mood of each film, three musicians created a unique live soundtrack for each visual masterpiece.
