In 1948, Clément Mathieu, an unemployed music teacher, takes a job as a supervisor at a boarding school for troubled boys. Disturbed by the headmaster’s harsh discipline, he introduces the students to music and choral singing. Through this, Mathieu gradually transforms their daily lives.
A major box office success, Les Choristes became one of the most beloved films in modern French cinema, capturing audiences in France and around the world. The movie earned international recognition, including nominations at the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. Its unforgettable soundtrack, especially the song Vois sur ton chemin, became iconic, helping cement the film’s lasting cultural impact.
