Élodie Blanchard

Works on Fabric
From April 16 to 20, 2018
3rd grade

Elodie Blanchard is a textile designer, colorist and stylist with a studio in Brooklyn. Upstream of the residence, students were introduced to sewing by art teacher Mireille Miller. Encouraged by their teachers, they brought to the school fabrics recovered from their homes. During the residency, each child will create his mascot by assembling these diverse and varied fabrics. Monster or comforter, their little anthropomorphic characters will be exhibited on Friday, April 20 in the cafeteria.
